Anthropic has paused the billing overhaul it had scheduled for the Claude Agent SDK, leaving current usage inside existing subscription limits for now. The change had been set to take effect on June 15, but the company says it is working to better align the proposal with actual usage patterns.

That delay matters because the plan was not a cosmetic adjustment.
